The logo signifies a singing heart. A heart of worship - in thanksgiving and gratitude to the Lord. Artist Sharne Suaiman, a 14 year-old student from NUS High School, addresses the complexity of Love through the Superstring Theory. It is based on the hypothesis that everything in the universe is made of elementary particles called 'strings'. The work consists of a single continuous line that does not break, cross, overlap or touch itself. Love is free, and so is the line. Music moves, and so does the line as it traverses the towering pillar. Mind-boggling twists and turns somehow form into massive details of musical instruments, bar elements and most subtly, hearts. This art is the brain child of Joshua Yang, who was inspired by the cellphone game "Snake". He has had exhibitions at the Esplanade and Marina Mandarin Singapore. |
